Day 3. Freycinet National Park, Tasman National Park, Port Arthur

This morning after breakfast, you have some time at leisure to explore picturesque Freycinet National Park. If you’re feeling adventurous perhaps take a walk to the Wineglass Bay lookout where you can enjoy beautiful views of the pure white beaches and surrounding bushland. If relaxing is more your style, you may prefer to take a swim in the turquoise blue waters off one of the many stunning beaches that are located in Freycinet National Park. Or perhaps you’d just like to relax and take in the surrounds of this amazing region. After spending some time at leisure, rejoin your coach and travel through Tasman National Park. Here, you'll be able to marvel at how nature and time have combined to create spectacular rock formations, such as the Tessellated Pavement, Devil’s Kitchen and Tasman Arch. Then, continue along a scenic stretch of road to one of Australia’s most evocative historic sites, the convict settlement of Port Arthur. This evening, stay in the shadows of the former penal colony.

Day 4. Port Arthur Historic Site, Richmond, Hobart

This morning, step back in time as you explore the Port Arthur Historic Site, which features over 30 buildings, ruins and restored period furnished homes set in 40 hectares of landscaped grounds. There is no better place to imagine how convict life would have been as you tour the ruins of Australia's most infamous penal colony. During your time here, witness the ruins, explore the chilling prison facilities and cruise on Mason Cove around the Isle of the Dead. After a morning of discovery, rejoin your coach and travel to the historic heart of Tasmania, the township of Richmond. Spend time admiring the historic convict-built bridge, as well as some fine examples of Georgian architecture. Continue through picturesque countryside to Hobart, where your tour concludes with an airport transfer.
