The Island: You'll love exploring Hayman. 400 hectares in area and 8 kilometres in circumference, its tallest peak stands 250 metres above sea level. Beyond the beach lies a coral reef, 800 metres wide, which fronts the southern half of the island. The reef becomes exposed at low tide and is covered by up to 4 metres of water at high tide. The Resort: Hayman is a resort like no other. Situated around a crescent-shaped, white, sandy bay on the south western side, the resort is the only facility on the island. The buildings have been designed to blend in with the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Throughout the resort, shady ponds and gentle waterfalls thread their way among beautiful gardens, spacious walkways and open-air lanais. Come and bask in Hayman's tropical climate, with its warm days and relaxed atmosphere. Throughout summer the weather becomes warm and sultry, with January traditionally being the warmest month. You may need a light jacket or sweater for the evenings in winter, especially in July, which is traditionally the coolest month. With its superb accommodation, restaurants and bars, gardens and pools, no part of the resort is taller than four stories and most guest rooms, restaurants and other public areas are situated in two wings.

Romance and pleasure await you on Hayman. At night, your private balcony becomes the setting for an intimate candlelight dinner. Hayman is the most northern island in the Whitsunday Island group and can be accessed via the mainland at Shute Harbour (Airlie Beach) or Hamilton Island.
