Whether your holiday agenda calls for leisurely relaxation or some more active pursuits both Peppers Guest House and the Hunter Valley region provide a variety of activity options. Peppers Guest House facilities include swimming pools, sauna, boules, tennis court and bicycles. There's also an endota spa on-site offering signature health and beauty treatments.

With a long low profile, sandstone walls and traditional Australian roof, the Hunter Valley's most famous guest house has a charming ambience that is relaxing and intimate. From the moment you walk into the reception area at Peppers Guest House Hunter Valley, the fresh flowers, rugs, polished floors and roaring fire (in winter) create a romantic and indulgent atmosphere, you instantly feel at home.

Peppers Guest House, Hunter Valley offers 48 deluxe accommodation rooms and suites, each tastefully furnished in a Peppers' distinctive boutique style. And for those wishing to enjoy the wine-country lifestyle with a group of friends or family and require a little more space and privacy, there is an exclusive self-contained four bedroom cottage within the gardens of Peppers Guest House steeped in rustic charm. With four double rooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, dining and living room, the country house provides the luxury of intimate seclusion where you can enjoy the attentions of your own Private Butler or Chef.

Famed Restaurant Sanctuary (formerly Chez Pok) is an epicurean delight blending local produce with fresh herbs picked from the Guest House’s own garden. The menu is carefully planned with a creative flair that is delicately matched by the finest regional and international wine selection.

Guests can enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the terrace, pamper body, mind and soul at endota spa, spend a lazy day by the pool, play tennis, read a good book by an open fire or luxuriate in one of life’s greatest indulgences and do absolutely nothing at all.

The many delights of the Hunter Valley are also but moments away – winery tours, hot air ballooning, cheese tasting, golf, horse and camel riding, carriage rides, sky diving, 4WD tours to name but a few.

Classic Room
Located on the ground floor, most of our Classic Rooms have French doors leading to the verandah and each features a King size bed and ensuite.

Vintage Room
With very similar features to the Classic Rooms, our Vintage Rooms are located on the first floor with views over the bushland, vineyards or gardens, and feature a king size bed and ensuite.

Heritage Suite
Our Heritage Suite’s are charming and spacious king-sized rooms with ensuite and separate lounge area. These suites are ideal for guests wanting more space and a personalised retreat from the world. You may never want to leave.

Homestead
Located only a short stroll from the Main House, the Homestead offers a classic country house escape. Decorated in a warm rustic style, the house is fully self-contained with four twin/double rooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, dining and living room, wide verandahs, a private courtyard with BBQ and children's play area, open fire, private pool and access to all services and facilities. Of course you are also welcome to use the other facilities at Peppers Guest House.

Make your weekend all that more indulgent by letting us arrange a private chef & butler to create a special dinner party menu in the complete privacy of the Homestead. Enjoy a massage at our onsite endota spa or unwind with a glass of Hunter Shiraz in the bar or by the fire, while you leave the rest to us.
