Using this web site means you accept these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this web site. Holidays Direct Pty Ltd may at any time modify these terms on this site and your continued use of this site is subject to the terms in force at the time of use. You must be 18 years of age or older.
Holidays Direct Pty Ltd acts as agent for the third party suppliers of the travel products and services advertised on this web site. Many suppliers impose special conditions on their products and services. These conditions apply in addition to Holidays Direct's terms. For example, suppliers may have rules and restrictions about the use and availability of fares, products and services, refund and cancellation policies and the limitation or exclusion of liability for death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage. It is your responsibility to check those conditions before you make a booking. Once you make a booking, you are bound by the conditions applicable to the relevant supplier.

Travel Documents:
Travel documents include (without limitation) airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers or any other document (whether in electronic form or otherwise) used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider. Travel documents may be subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions including (without limitation) being non-refundable, non-date-changeable and subject to cancellation and/or amendment fees. All travel documents are non transferable. All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo identity holder, some carriers will deny carriage if the name varies and the booking may be cancelled. It is your responsibility to ensure that all documentation is issued in the correct name/s prior to travel and Holidays Direct takes no responsibility for errors. Changes can only be made when permitted by the airline, wholesaler or operator and may be subject to fees and surcharges. All travel documents must be collected from us prior to travel. Please contact your consultant the day before collection to confirm that the travel documents are ready for collection.
Schedule Changes:
It is your responsiblity to contact the airline prior to travel to ensure the scheduled departure time has not changed.

We can provide information to you about travel insurance. To decide if a policy is right for you, please carefully read the relevant Product Disclosure Statement and Policy Wording available. Travel insurance is strongly recommended by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for all overseas travel.

For domestic flights the name of the booked passenger must match the passenger's photo ID provided at check-in. Passports are required for all travellers departing Australia. It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet the passport, visa/re-entry permit and health requirements of the countries you wish to visit and those that you transit (even if it is for a plane change). Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility. Disclosure: You must ensure your Australian passport has a validity of six months after your return date to Australia and advise us if you wish us to make any necessary visa application on your behalf. In the event that you are travelling to a country or countries which do not require a visa for Australian passport holders, you must tell us if you have been arrested or convicted in respect of any offence or breach of law. Non disclosure of this information may lead to your being refused entry on arrival in certain countries. In that event, we take no responsibility whatsoever. If you do not wish to disclose such information to us, then you must contact the embassy of each country of destination and make your own arrangements in regard to entry to that country.
Carry-on Baggage at International Airports:
To increase your safety, there are new rules for taking liquids, aerosols and gels on flights into and out of Australia. These new rules are needed to protect you from the threat of liquid explosives. Ensure you read the Security Guide for Carry-on Baggage at International Airports.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel destinations and to ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation.
Certain taxes are mandatory in various countries. There may also be an additional local tax charged at some airports. All taxes are subject to change without notice.
Refunds and Cancellations:
Most tickets are non changeable/non refundable. If your ticket is refundable we will require notification of your cancellation in writing. Once we have received your written notification we will cancel your flights and submit your ticket to the airline for refund. Airlines can take around 6-12 weeks to process a refund. We are unable to provide a refund to you until we receive the funds from the relevant supplier. Cancelled bookings will incur charges. These charges can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced. Both airline and/or supplier and Holidays Direct Pty Ltd cancellation fees will apply. Fees will also apply where a booking is changed or tickets are reissued.
Booking, Cancellation and Amendment Charges:
Certain fees may be payable in respect of transactions entered into using the Service, as notified at the time of the relevant transaction. These fees may include booking fees, cancellation fees and, where amendment is permitted, amendment fees. In some cases, Agents may charge cancellation and/or amendment fees in addition to those imposed by travel service providers. Unless otherwise notified to you at the time of entry into the relevant transaction, a charge of $150 per person is payable to the Agent in respect of any cancellation. Where amendment of a booking is permitted, fees will apply payable to the Agent for each permitted amendment in addition to any applicable airline/operator fees. Before entering into a transaction, you should carefully check to see whether any other cancellation or amendment fees apply. These charges will be deducted from your credit card at the time charges are incurred or from monies held. We reserve the right to refuse service to any client we feel is not genuine in their desire to transact with Holidays Direct Pty Ltd according to our terms and conditions. Excessive booking requests coupled with the repeated failure to complete transactions by providing requisite payments will be deemed deliberate time-wasting and, at our discretion, may result in the refusal to provide service.

Holidays Direct Pty Ltd acts as a travel agent only. We sell various travel related products on behalf of numerous transport, accommodation and other wholesale service providers, such as airlines, coach, rail and cruise line operators. Holidays Direct Pty Ltd's obligation is to make travel bookings on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and travel service providers. We have no responsibility for these services nor do we make or give any warranty or representation regarding their standard. All bookings are made subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by these service providers. Your legal recourse is against the specific provider and not Holidays Direct Pty Ltd. If for any reason, any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted your remedy lies against the provider and not with Holidays Direct Pty Ltd.
We cannot accept responsibility for any travel service, rules and conditions that are incorrectly represented within this system. The data and services shown are provided in good faith and 'as is'. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any data or services provided and to the maximum extent permitted by any law disclaimer all implied warranties in connection with such data or services. We do not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements. We do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.
Credit Card Transactions:
Credit card surcharges may apply when paying by credit card. If for any reason any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against that provider, and not against Holidays Direct Pty Ltd. In the event that payment has been made to Holidays Direct Pty Ltd by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to charge back your payment to Holidays Direct Pty Ltd.
