Overview

That place is Bedarra, an exclusive haven catering to those who desire a more civilised escape. Your villa is one of sixteen hidden in the rainforest. The view of the sunlight dancing across the water from your balcony is almost hypnotic. After the rainforest take a trip out to The Great Barrier Reef. The gourmet food is simply exquisite, a standard our guests demand - so there is a team of chefs and a new menu every day. The superb seafood is always fresh, as if you caught it yourself. There are many ways to fill the day but a beach picnic comes highly recommended plus there are many interesting activities. You set off by boat with a hamper fit for royalty to discover one of the many secluded bays. Bedarra often has more beaches then guests, so your privacy is assured. An open terrace restaurant overlooks the cascading pool in an intimate setting for a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner, all of which are included in your tariff. Location & TransfersCovering 100 Hectares, Bedarra Island is part of the Family Group of Islands, located off the tropical North Queensland coast, midway between Townsville and Cairns and neighbouring Dunk Island.

AccommodationChoose from the following types of luxury accommodation: THE PAVILIONS The spacious sleeping area features a custom designed 'floating' bed with a separate oversized bathroom with shower and deep bath, overlooking the rainforest as well as a walk-in robe. An expansive and beautifully appointed living area with a bar stocked to your choice, offers contemporary banquette seating, a large screen TV, DVD player and work desk with phone and computer. The large outdoor area and deck incorporates a private plunge pool, a daybed and a dining setting. Every afternoon Pavilion guests receive a delivery of ice and a sunset canape plate. THE POINTS The Points boast a large indoor living area with contemporary styling and sensational views. A large banquette, plasma screen television, a work desk with a phone and a computer, and a separate bathroom with shower and free standing bath are just some of the features.
